Angelus

Angelus is a poet living near Joshua Tree National Park, the ancestral territory of the Serrano people. She writes to witness herself and the environment, using her poetry as a circle she can traverse to perceive all angles of a single point within. The spoken word that flows from her is often lava-like but as grounded as the volcano itself.
She has found art to be a mirror in which she sees herself and is exploring painting on clear acrylic, sewing, collaging with personal photography, and weaving a tangible thread to all the art she sees in her dreams.
Currently finishing her first book and working toward completing her studies, she continues to delve deeper into her creative and spiritual journey, with a focus on nurturing both the Self and the world around her. You can find her on Instagram @Notes2theself.
